Making the buisness cards I started by making an etching plate as previously mentioned, I experimented with a blind deboss and although it gave a good effect it is subtle and is not as eye catching as I think the UTC want there company to be. Although when discussing the project with the client words like bold, eye catching and proffessional get thrown arround I'm not entirely certain they understand how they want to atchive these things in terms of a 'brand' therefore I find my self sometimes playing a guessing game. The thought process behind the buisness cards was therefore this, a tactile well crafted card that was not only eye catching but sleak and sophisticated. I hope in my attempts to produce this the matterials and methods I have used show this. The business cards went from a blind embossed grey stock to a deep red inked card with the logo clear from ink and raised from the surface.
